Error occur during install equation 3.0 object

I want to use equation inside Word so I install office equation 3.0.
but each time when I insert the equation 3.0 object, the WORD have error
occurred will close WORD.
have windows asked me report it, when I press "No Report" have messeng as
below:

Microsoft Office Word can't start the application required to open this
object.
An error occurred and this feature is no longer functioning properly. Would
you like to repair this feature now?

Press 'yes"

Installing application server....

Error again message as below:

This object was created in equation.
This application is not available to open this object
Make sure the application is properly installed and that it has not been
deleted, moved, or renamed.

I reinstall two time, the problem still occur, some body can help me

Office version: Office 2003
OS: Windows XP SP1
