Error occurred while checking spelling

Hello All

I am running Office2K under Windows2K.
In outlook, when creating a new email, pressing F7 (or doing Tools>Spelling) always gives "Error occurred while checking spelling".
I have tried 'repairing' office (from control panel>add/remove programs>support), which had no effect.
F7 works fine in Word, Excel etc.
Does anyone have any ideas?
