Error on close

I am using Word 2007 (part of Office 2007) on XPSP2 with all updates.

Everytime I close Word I get a dialog saying there was an error and asking
if I want to send a report to MS and if I want to recover my work and
restart Word. Any ideas why this would be and how I can prevent it?

Mostly, that is caused by an HP printer driver. Are you using an HP
printer/driver? The easy solution is to select a different printer driver as
the default and only select the HP printer when you need to print.

Yes, I use an HP printer. Guess I'll see what I can do, or ignore it if I

Unfortunately, HP support has not been forthcoming, but it may be worth
contacting them to see if they have a viable solution yet.

If not, next time, get a Canon printer - vastly superior!

I just tried a live chat with HP and was completely unsuccessful in finding
out if the problem was being addressed/fixed, discussed w/Microsoft, etc. Do
you have any additional information on the status?
