Error on defining new project

Mehrdad

Hi,

I installed a project server 2007 and a sharepoint server 2007. Everything
is OK except when I click on "New Project" in PWA, I get this error message:

---------------------------
Microsoft Office Project Professional 2007 is required for this action.
Ensure that your copy of Project Professional 2007 can connect to this
server. If both of these conditions are true and you still get this message,
contact your system administrator for assistance.
---------------------------

I put the project server installation CD and repaired it, but I still get
the same error message.

Any help?

Thank you in advance,
Mehrdad

Mehrdad:

Have you setup a Project Server Account in Project Professional from Tools >
Enterprise Options > Project Server Accounts? If not set this up with the
exact URL you use to access PWA. If you have set this up, it would indicate
that you are using a different URL to access from Project Pro than you are
from the browser. These must match exactly for this function to work.

Thank you for your response, but I don't use Office Project Professional
2007. As I mentioned below, I am using Office Project Web Access. Shall I
Install Office Project Pro too?

Thank you again,
Mehrdad
