I can import into Microsoft Access 97 a Dbase III Plus DBF file just
fine. I can even link to a DBF file. However, if I export to a Dbase
file as Dbase III. The Dbase III Plus program cannot open the file
within Dbase--says something about the file is not a database file?
When I link to a Dbase DBF file, I can view it in Microsoft Access.
However, if I try to write any data to the DBF file--it corrupts (that
is I cannot open in Dbase again).
Does anybody know what's going on here? Seems like perhaps the table
header is getting corrupted.
Thanks,
todd
