Hi everyone!

May i know is there another way to obtain the data? I have followed the
instructions stated and ctrl+f for it. But couldnt locate the file. any
advise?

Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
Locate the following registry subkey, as appropriate for the version of Word
that you are running:
• Word 2007:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft Office\12.0\Word\Data

I am currently saving a distressing problem with MS Word. Couldn't click,
highlight, scroll, open files or close the program properly. Please help!

Thanks!!!

When you Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK, does the
Registry Editor dialog open?

In it you might just see

+ My Computer

Click on the + and you will probably then see

+HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
+HKEY_CURRENT_USER

plus some others. Click on the + before the HKEY_CURRENT_USER to expand the
list, in which you should see an item + Software. click on the + in front
of Software and then in the list you should see + Microsoft, click on the +
in front of Microsoft and in the list that appears, you should see a +
Office, click on that + and you should then see + 12.0, click on that plus
and you should then see a list containing + Word, click on that plus and in
the list that appears you should see a Data folder.
