Error on opening Excel 2003

I have recently installed office 2003 Pro.
When I start Excel ( either via the start/programs menu or by double
clicking an xls file) I get TWO errorrs during the load that stop excel until
I click OK.
Error one dialog box is headed " MIcrosoft Forms" and the error text is
'could not load an object because it is not available on this machine'.
I click OK and the next error is ' Could not load some objects because they
are not available on this machine'.
click OK and excel continues to load fine.
Any clues as to how to remove these errors?
