Error on page ... only on one users machine

Hi,
I have installed project server 2003 ... and so far managed to iron out
some of the issues.

but one of the users "Web access" will not load the pages that contain
grids ... now I have seen discussion on this when it affects all users
.... ie: the MSADC properties are incorrect etc.

I was wondering what the fix was when it is only affecting one machine
.... maybe his explorer settings ?

SteveD,

Log on to the user's computer with a domain or local admin account and
navigate to c:\windows\downloaded program files. There you will see the
following two Project Server ActiveX controls:

Pj11enuC Class
PjAdoInfo3 Class

Remove both objects and try starting Project Web Access again. You will have
to accept the EULA once more, then the ActiveX controls will be downloaded
again.

Is the issue solved after these steps?

Hi Marc,
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be the problem
.... I could only find the Pj11enuC Class file in the Downloaded
Programs folder so I deleted it and started project web access again,
it installed the activex control again ... but alas the same error
occurs and ie freezes.
Any other ideas ?

Thanks. Yes, after I posted this reply I went searching and found this
article. Manually installing the activex controls seems to have done
the trick.

Thanks for the help .... now just need to sort out my Outlook Add-in
issue ! ... see my latest post
