Error on PST export

I have an exchange client that needs to actually export the PST file on the
workstation. It fails using Outlook2003 with all the patches but there
aren't any errors in the event viewer.

I've tried using the export on the exchange server but I can't ever seem to
import them - it wants some password info. I never put in any password info
when I use the exchange utility.

What symptoms indicate a failure?

a pop up that says error exporting - it doesn't give details on why. I
tried turning off my av program in case that was causing the issue, no luck.
I got it down to a specific folder that is 800MB that I can't export. It
fails at 120MB into the folder. I don't know exactly what is failing on -
otherwise I could break up the folder.
