Error opening attachment

We have a situation where several users get an error when trying to open a text-file attached to an e-mail. Error message is (approximately): Can't create XXXXXXXX.TXT. Right click the folder you are trying to save the file in and select Properties to see if you have the right permissions
When I try Save As instead of Open, the dialog box opens in the user's My Documents folder and the properties on that shows it's set as read-only! And I can't remove the read-only attribute.....
This only happens in Outlook, other apps don't see the My Documents folder as read-only.

You probably need to give the client the ability to write
information to some locked down folders. W2K is
very restrictive by default.

Look at the settings in the "temp" folder on the hard drive
to start.
