error opening email attachment - photo (jpg)

i'm having problem viewing the attachment on my email. I'm using outlook 2003
SP1 and Windows XP prof - SP2. I received several emails from a friend and
the photo they sent cannot open. According to the program "drawing failed"

please help me.
