When we open a file excel 2003, excel comes, when he is updating links to
other file, with a message that there are not sufficient welles to complete
the tasks. We must close .... We can't find what is wrong. Is there one with
a solution?

a solution?

Have a look at the options here:

There is only a message. The file opens and the data is avaiable. However
some data of links from another file is not updated. The file is not corrupt
for the most. does someone have another solution.

Hi Meine,

The options at the very bottom of the page (round-trip through HTML) might
resolve your issue. For the rest I suspect your file has become overly complex
formatting-wise. It may contain a number of cell formats that is close to
excel's limits, or maybe too many charts (which will consume a part of the
available custom formats as well).

I'd suggest to simplify the workbooks formatting to avoid the error.
