Hello,
I am using Microsoft Word 2007 (Home & Student Version) and whenever I open
a saved file on my computer (directly by clicking on the document to open) I
receive the following error message -
"Windows cannot find 'C:\Users\Kevin\Desktop\Shopping List.docx'. Make sure
you typed the name correctly, and then try again".
If I click on the OK button and leave Word open and return to my desktop and
click on the file again -- the file will open. If I close out Microsoft Word
and then click on the file again, I receive the above error message again.
I file could be anywhere on my computer (My Documents Folder, Desktop, etc
.... ) and the same message appears. Will only open the document if I have
Microsoft Word running in the background.
Any suggestions on how to fix? I have auto updates set and all the latest
updates are applied.
Anyone else having the same issue?
Any help would be appreciated.
