Error opening installation log file while installing MS Office 2003

I've tried several times to install MS Office 2003
(student teacher edition) on my laptop that is running
Win XP. I keep on getting the same error..."Error opening
installation log file. Verify that the log file exists
and is writable."

Can anyone please help me. I don't have any previous
versions of MS Office running.
