When I open Access 2007 on my machine (Windows XP Pro SP2) I get the
following error:
"A problem occurred while Microsoft Office Access was communicating with the
OLE server or ActiveX control. Close the OLE server and restart it outside of
Microsoft Access. Then try the original operation again in Microsoft Office
Access."
Pressing Ctrl-Shift-I reveals an extra number on this errormessage. the
number is 502753.
The errormessage reappears immediately when clicked away. Leaving me no
other option but to close Access with the task manager.
It would be a great help if I would know which OLE Server or ActiveX control
I must restart. This message is no help at all, if it doesn't say what to
restart.
Does anybody know what this message is about. Any help would be very
appreciated.
I found a similar error in the knowledge base, but that was was linked to
Norton antivirus, and I'm not running that. (I'm using AVG Free edition).
Kind regards,
Peter
