error opening spreadsheet from windows explorer

When I try to open a spreadsheet, example Transfer Log.xls, I get the error
message, F:\Docs\Andy\Excel.xls cannot be found & to check the spelling of
the name & verify tat the location is correct. When I click OK, I get another
error message saying that it cannot find 'Docs\Transfer.xls. When I click OK
on that error, I get yet another error message saying the same thing except
it can't find 'Log.xls. After I click OK on that error, the file opens up. It
does this with every file I try in Windows Explorer. Going to Excel - File -
Open, everything works fine. This has just started happening. Any ideas?
