Hi,
We are getting an issue when clicking on a URL link from within emails in
Outlook 2007. 3 boxes appear. The first one reports that MS Office has
identified a potential security concern at the network location, click YES to
continue. The second box prompts to Open the email attachement and the third
one reports General Failure. The URL was: "file:///\\G:\%network location%
The system cannot find the file specified.
I have searched many sites for a solution, all of which suggest that this is
caused by having Firefox as the default we browser. Unfortunately we do not
use Firefox and there is no trace of this on the machine. We have IE7 set as
the default browser and the same email links work successfully on other PCs
with the same build. Anyone have any suggestions how to resolve this error?
