Error: Outlook Data File did not close properly

Outlook 2007 on Vista Home Premium with all Windows Updates, and no recent
new software installs. Suddenly I am getting sporadic (maybe once every
3rd or 4th opening of Outlook) error message that the data file did not
close properly. Then promptly followed by a second message that the 'Data
file check is complete", then Outlook works as expected. Any ideas as to
what may be causing this issue?
