Error - perform illegal operation

I have created a text box in Word and I am trying to
delete it. When I go to delete the text box I get a error
message 'This program has performed an illegal operation
and bill be shut down.' I do not know how to get this
text box deleted without getting the error message. Pleas
advise.

I would try creating a new document and matching the
margins to the one that is crashing.

Copy the entire contents of this file except for the final
paragraph symbol. Paste into this new document. Try
deleting again.
