Error re default e-mail folders

Hello all
I am running Outlook 2002 on XP Pro. I recently had others
do work on my computer and afterwards I reinstalled Office.
I now get this error message when I start Outlook -
"Unable to open your default e-mail folders.Could not
open the item. Try again."

I suspect some data files are in the wrong place to be
found. Can you help me please?
