I have a very strange phenomenom happening with Outlook
My POP3 mailbox might have say 20 messages, which I can see through a
webmail reader.
When I connect via Outlook 2003, (WAN Broadband connection) I usually get
the message receiving 1 of 20 messages, the system then appears to hang - it
might download some of the messages, on other occasions none, so the
progress indicator sits at somewhere between 1% and perhaps up to 80%.
Restarting outlook will repeat the above, messages that were downloaded are
downloaded again and the system 'hangs' at the same point.
If I delete all the mail items in the POP3 box using the webmail reader, and
restart Outlook it still shows 20 messages and stops in the same place.
Restarting outlook several times will eventually cause outlook to download
all messages (from where I do not know since the POP3 box is empty?).
Please help - I believe this is an Outlook problem but its tricky to
isolate.
Cheers
