Error Report Box?

Just recently I have been unable to open a New Publication
using the Wizard, Because I get a message box stating
"ASSERT
File:undialog.cpp Line 1396"

My Publisher is 97 de luxe.
My O.S. is Windows XP Pro.

This set-up HAS(!) been running fine.
Can anyone help?
