Have rolled out my form to 300 plus branches all around UK to do manual
cheque requests. Working fine for 90% of the 800 or so staff with 3-4 %
having bandwidth problems which is being dealt with. The other 6-7% are
having Infopath just shut down on them after clicking submit, leaving them
with the ever helpful 'Send Error Report' box.
My submit button on the Originators view submits the data from the form to
my database, then mails the form on to the authoriser after setting a field's
value. I am aware of the bandwidth problem as some of them are getting the
30 second timeout on data response, however some, immediately on clicking the
button suffer application crash.
This is also happening at the authorisation stage where the button only sets
a fields value and mails on the form, application shut-down and the Error
Report Message. They all have Office SP2 installed and do not have problems
with the limits on the mailbox despite the form only being 33Kb.
Would welcome any assistance, as soon as one of them gets back on the
network i am going to look at event viewer to see if i can trace it that way.
Cheers Adam
