Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: imap
When I start Entourage, it connects with my IMAP account and imports new messages, but then it tries to run a rule that transfers junk emails to the IMAP Junk folder. However, after startup, none of the IMAP folders, other than the inbox, show for several seconds. So I get an error for each Junk message in my inbox. Then, the rule is automatically revised to send the files to the Junk folder on "My Computer."
When the IMAP folders finally appear, the Junk folder shows no files until I click on it. Then it populates with the files that are saved in that folder. I then have to edit the rule in order to send the Junk mail to the IMAP Junk folder.
How do I stop Entourage from running the rule on startup? And how do I get it to automatically show all the folders and files from my IMAP account?
