Error saving changes to Categories

P

Peter Sirmis

Hi,

In PWA, under Admin in Manage Security, I am trying to make changes to
the My Projects Category. After I make changes I get the error message
"An error occurred while completing the operation" and does not allow me
to save my changes. I have made changes to the other categories and
have not had any problems.

Any ideas?

Peter

Peter,

Unfortunately there is not enough information here to help you troubleshoot
the problem. After you click modify categories:

1) What category are you attempting to modify?
2) What modifications are you attempting to make?
3) Has anything else changed on the system that you are aware of? (Service
Pack?)

This may take a few back and forth posts but... we will get there!!

Thanks for your help Scott....i figured out what the problem was there
was a resource who was assigned to the category; I removed that user and
was able to save changes.
