Error saving project to project server

I am trying to publish updates to my project on project server but am
receiving the following error message:

"You are trying to publish a non-enterprise project to Project Server. The
security settings on the server do not allow you to publish non-enterprise
projects."

Hi,

It is because the project you are saving is a .mpp file
most likely.

The project has to be imported into Project Server first.
(Tools, Enterprise, Import menu)
