Error saving the Enterprise Global

I open the Enterprise Global on Project Pro and when I saved it I get the
following error:
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]SELECT permission denied on
object 'MSP_PROJECTS', database 'ProjectServer', owner 'dbo'.

I'm using SQL server 2000, Project Server 2003, Project Pro 2003 and I log
in using the Administrator Account.

Any help would be appreciate.

Most probably there might be issue with SQL permissions.

- Check with SQL DBA about your permissions to the database. Also make sure
the two projectuser accounts in SQL have correct permissions.

Besides that also verify your rights in Project Server.

- Make sure you have "Save Enterprise Global" permission. Make sure you
don't belong to a group/category which have 'deny' access to 'Save Enterprise
Global' permission.

- In order to resolve some of the complexity involved in doing the above
manually, you can make use of 'View Effective Rights' tool. A free add-on
from MS.
