ERROR SAVING WORD DOC

I get the following error when trying to save a word
document to network drive.

Windows deployed write failed. Windows was unable to save
all the data for the file. The data has been lost. They
say this error is caused by a failure of your computer
hardware (I have check this out) OR Network connections.
Please try to save this file elsewhere.

Any suggestions.

Does the error occur if you save to a local drive?

What version of Word are you using?

What patches do you have installed?

What os and network os are you using?
