Error saying problem need to close, after closing excell-why?

Everytime I close Excel I get an error message saying that windows needs to
close excel. This is odd because I have already closed Excel before I get
the error. The error only pops up after I have worked on a SS. It does not
loose my data, or corrupt it. The message only appears after you close it
out. If anyone can help me with this before I do detect and repair I would
be gratefull.
