Error sending Emails through 3d party software

Stevelaw

I use a program called TimeMatters for email management. It has an option to
use "extended MAPI" when sending emails through Outlook 2002. When I select
that option, emails to certain recipients are received by the recipients, but
the message text is gone. The message shows up in the sent folder of
outlook, but the recipients never receive the text, only the "to" "from" and
"re" header. Interestingly, in the sent folder, the envelope icon for the
sent message shows as "unread" and remains in that state regardless of
whether the message is opened or not. This problem does not occur if the
extended MAPI option is not selected in Time Matters.

The third party software support blames Otlook, saying it has to do with the
winmail.dat attahcments often put on rtf files. I have disabled rtf in
Outlook, but no luck on the emails.

Any suggestions (other than stop using "extended MAPI" option in TimeMatters)?
