Error sending info fill in form.

FPSE will be installed on the server, by the host.
I discovered also that my form seemed to be not a form anymore. Like
the submit button is just a regular button. My be is was "broken" due
to grouping/ungrouping. How to make a new form with the present field,
tics and the submit/reset buttons?

Once FPSE are installed, then delete the Pub HTML files on your site, and
republish the Publisher web using HTTP, and see if that helps.

Hi --

I appreciated this info, but I have a similar, but slightly different
problem. I am trying to test my publisher form with my own localhost (I am
running XP Professional and have IIS installed and running). I also checked
that the http://localhost/_vti_inf.html does bring up the "FrontPage
Configuration Information", which by the article mentioned below, indicates
that FPSE is running on my own IIS localhost.

The problem is that when I press the submit button, I still am getting the
"http://localhost/test/--WEBBOT-SELF--" with an "HTTP 405" error. It does
not seem to matter which Data Retrieval Method I set in my Form Properties
dialog box.

Thanks for the help.

Dale,

Sorry I don't have an answer, and if David Bartosik's material on this
doesn't suffice, then I would suggest that you post your question to his
attention on the web group:

microsoft.public.publisher.webdesign

What's the exact URL to contact David Bartosik? I tried following your
path, but that brought me back here.

Thanks,
Dale
