ERROR: SetFolder while using old Config folder/file with Outlook 2

Long story. I've inherited some custom forms apparently written in Outlook 98
with some 3rd party stuff, copied pieces from wherever, etc. Now that we are
migrating to Outlook 2003, I get the SetFolder error saying that the Config
folder must be of type "Mail Items" (IPM.Note) to operate correctly. Short
term I want to get rid of the errors. Long term I want to eliminate the
Configuration File. There are a number of files in a Post folder under the
Task folder that the Workflow form is in. I've read the books by Sue & Randy
plus done many searches in MS Knowledge Base but can't find any info about
Config files & Custom Forms to try to figure out what it's doing & try to
hard code it & get rid of it. Does anyone have a resource I that I can find
the answers to this? I'm not a programmer but apparently I'm about to become
one.

It might be helpful to know more about what you mean by "with some 3rd party
stuff, copied pieces from wherever." I'm not even sure what you mean by the
Config folder.

Hi Sue,
I've done some Registry searching & found out that an Outlook Extension
Library was registered from TeamScope. I went to their website & found the
error on their support page. I guess I'll have to put out some money for an
updated OEL to give me time to figure out how to get rid of all the
non-standard Outlook coding & 3rd party stuff. I appreciate your quick
response. As I start converting this form I may be posting questions again.
Thanks.
