Error starting newly installed access 97

I recently inhareted an application that uses an access 97
DB. I had office 2000 on my laptop. I uninstalled it and
installed access of of a office 97 cd i still had. All
other applications work but access gives the following
error "Microsoft Access can't start because there is no
license for it on this machine". How do I correct this?

This is a common - and fixable - bug caused by a misbehaving font. The
