error synchronizing resource pool

i'm tryting to synchronize my resource pool group (Active directory group)
with the Project server I always receive this error message,

The Active Directory group failed to synchronize with the Enterprise
Resource Pool

I have tried not to use the format donain\group name as some support groups
suggested but every time I have the same error message

Try installing project server service pack 2
It should work after that
