Error: The Local Security Authority cannot be contacted.

Hi,

I cannot open the project server page-getting error message "The Local
Security Authority cannot be contacted ". This is the first time i am trying
to access the project server web access page. I have added project server
url in trusted sites. When i try to access the page, i immediately get this
error. It even does not let me add username and password in the dialog box
that pops up. What could be the issue? Please help!

If you're getting a popup authentication challenge from the server, your
problem is likely with directory security for your websites. If you want to
get serious about troubleshooting problems like this here, you need to take
the time to describe your system. Are you in a domain?

Hi Gary,

Thanks for your response. Actually, one of the users in my dept. was facing
this problem and his problem has been solved now. We are a in a domain. It
was his IE settings that solved the problem.
