Error: The web page should only be opened from within Groove

Usiung Office 2007 Enterprise loaded onto Win XP SP2. Groove 2007 does not
allow viewing all tool tabs where workspace owner still using Groove v3.1

Specifically using Microsoft Groove 2007, when entering either of the Groove
3.1 Issue Log and Training tabs there is no form view, and both show the
error message:
"The web page should only be opened from within Groove. Please close the
window."
on press OK:
"Runtime error. Do you wish to Debug? Line: 32 Error: 'nul' is nul or not
an object"

Seems to be these lines in java script:-
// If the design is initialized and there are at least one form and view,
go to the view frame.
if
(getScriptHostQI("IGrooveFormsToolUIDelegatePrivate").IsDesignInitialized(false))

Does anyone know what causes this and/or a permanent fix?
Has anyone else the same problem?

I would be very grateful for any help or comment on this one. Many Thanks

This might be an artifact of the default Workspace Restrictions.

Go to the preferences - security tab under the affected account. If the
checkbox "Restore or Join only Microsoft Office Groove 2007 (or later)
workspaces" is checked, try unchecking it.

Hi GWON,

Thanks for the thought, but sadly not a solution, temporary or permanant!!

The original workspace is from a Groove 3.1 account, and because I run
Groove replicas on both Vista and XP, I specifically checked that the
checkbox "Restore or Join only Microsoft Office Groove 2007 (or later) is
unchecked.

Meantime, I set IE add-ins back to defaults, and then via Control panel "add
or remove programs", I have performed an Office 2007 Enterprise repair. The
problem now no longer occurs, but I need to test over time, and then retest
as I restore each IE add-in.
More later.
