I'm running Outlook 2003 (11.6359.6360 SP1). I successfully exported my
Contact data to Excel format using the default mapping. I thought I'd get
clever and map my own fields and in doing so, I received the error:
“An ODBC error has occurred in the Microsoft Excel translator while sending
field map information to translator.
[Microsoft][ODBC Excel Driver] Too many fields definedâ€
So I went back in and cleared my custom mapping and restored the default.
Same error1 I closed Outlook and restarted it and attempted to export my
Contacts to Excel and received the same error. So, I rebooted and still
receive the same error. HELP! How could this have worked and now stopped?
