Let me give you a little background on the issue.
There is a department that I work for that has a sharepoint site that has a
calendar on it. When I go to the sharepoint site and get to the calendar I
hit the option the action option that says "connect to outlook." Underneath
that it says :synchronize items and make them available offline." After I
clicked that option the calendar added to my outlook in the calendar section.
The problem is this: nothing shows up in the calendar and when I do a
send/receive an error message pops up stating:
Task 'SharePoint' reported error (0x80004005) : 'An error occurred in this
SharePoint List (West Point G3 - West Point Master Calendar). Try updating
the folder again. If the problem continues, contact the SharePoint site
administrator. HTTP 500.
The server returned the following error message: Exception of type
'Microsoft.SharePoint.SoapServer.SoapServerException' was thrown.'
I am wondering if this is an outlook issue or a sharepoint configuration
issue. I already contacted the sharepoint adminstrator and they informed me
that I had permissions to, at the very least, veiw the calendar.
