Error uninstalling Project 2002 Std

I get an error when uninstalling Project 2002 Std (and
Pro). The error is like "Error 1321. Setup cannot modify
the file C:\config.msi\xxxxx.rbf. Verify that the file
exists in your system and that you have sufficient
permissions to update it."

Has anyone seen this type of error?

Welcome to the Microsoft Project newsgroup

Well, the error is covered in : http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=232143 .
However, what you do about it is certainly not clear to me! The only thing
I can offer is to re-install the product and then have another go at
uninstalling.
