Error uninstalling

When I try to uninstall office, I get the error message 1711 "An error
occurred while writing installation information to disk". I emptied the Temp
folder, I have plenty of space in my hard drive, but yet the same thing
happens. Also, I tried to kill msiexec, but then when I want to remove
office, it says it can not locate Windows installer. Any suggestion?
