I recently had to reformat my hard drive due to a virus,
and now the "call contact" does not work. I get an error
(from Outlook) stating "An internal error occurred using
the automatic phone dialer". Searching Microsofts
Knowledgeware database
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;299456), I find that outlook 2000 must use
the "unimodem 5 service provider" for this functionality.
According to the advanced options in the phone and modem
advanced options (accessed via control panel), I cannot
add the "unimodem 5 service provider", as no service
providers exist. Why it worked before, or if I somehow set
the service provider to something else, I cannot say, but
I am unable to get this working again. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
