Error using DNS

M

MARVS

I was able to provide some work around to the issues that i previously posted
but wasn't able to explain fully to our client what had happened...

1. When they received the error 8..x00..45 something...
Before,The client's workstation is using the dns on its microsoft office
project server account calling the PWA for publishing the project.Everytime
they are publishing a project an error occured in spooler
and when i checked the application event log,it states the ff.

The project were still published and listed on the PWA, but the project
can't be opened from PWA back to project professional.

The problem went gone temporarily when I changed their access using the
server name instead of using the dns name. But with their requirements of
using the DNS name, instead of the server name accessing the project server I
think I need to meet them to justify what had happened.. but before i face
them i really need your inputs on my inquiries..

Will I still be able to publish the project even if we use a fully qualified
domain name(dns)?
Can i use it(DNS) only for browsing the PWA and not meant for publishing a
project?
Did i miss something on IE configuration?
Is it a bug?

Pls help

Thanks in Advance
