Error using OLAP Extension

Downloaded and tried to use the TaskEarnedValue section of the Project Server
2003: Portfolio Analyzer OLAP Extensions. As I was trying to run the
application OLAP Breakout 1, I encountered the following error:
Error! Unable to complete OLAP Breakout 1. Unhandled Error: 'ActiveX
component can't create object!

Is there a shorter way to achieve the same objective? To view task-level
details especially Enterprise Task fields?

I believe you can only extend Task Outline Codes and not Task Custom Fields.
I don't know how the extender works but I there is a way to get Task Level
Outline code values into the OLAP by creating a Task Level Outline code with
the appropriate values, then sharing that outline code with a Resource
Outline Code. Then you create a macro that runs through all your
assignments and copies the value from the Task to the Assignment level. You
can have the macro run on a save so that every time a PM opens and saves
their project, the latest data gets populated.

Now the task assignment information will show in the OLAP the next time it
runs.
