error VBE6.DLL is not the correct version

I am getting this error, I have uninstalled Word 2003, done a repair. Is my
only option to uninstall Office 2003 and reinstall

Thanks, the fix worked great, there was also a problem in that when I opened
word, I alays got the "document ---- could not be registered. But I fixed
this by reapplying XP SP2. Thank You again. Great Name same as my daughter.
