I ran into an interesting problem and wanted to share it with the group.
I am using MS Proj Pro 2007 SP2 and MS Proj Server 2007 SP2. I was working
in an enterprise project and was checking resource assignments on PWA using
the MY TASKS view. I exited the view then tried to go back and received the
following error:
"Error (Go back to site): An unexpected error has occurred.
Web Parts Maintenance Page: If you have permission, you can use this page to
temporarily close Web Parts or remove personal settings..."
If I closed the MY TASKS web part, I could view the page, but, of course, no
task assignment info. After many failed attempts to find a working
combination, I deleted the PUBLSIHED version of the project I had been
working on, suspecting that my assignment data had becme corrupted.
I was then able to see the MY TASKS view again, without the assignment data
for the previous project. I then republished the project and all my data has
reappeared and no problem accessing the view.
