Error when attempting to open a contact in Outlook 2003 SP2

Suddenly, for some reason, I am unable to open my existing contacts or create
new contacts in Outlook without an error message appearing and MS Office
shutting down. Can someone please tell me how to correct this? Thank you

What is the exact text of the error? What type of account?
