error when calling psi method - createProjectFromTemplate

Hello, I am trying to create a new project with PSI 2007 using a
template and I receive the following error "assignment not found" .
I have no resources in the template and I do not understand why this
is happening.
Can someone help please?

Hi Caludia,

I believe there are some bugs in this PSI call that has to do with
Resource or Assignment custom fields. The only workaround I've seen so
far is to actually copy the ProjectDataSet from the template into the
new file. Unfortunately this takes several steps/PSI calls.

A solution to this problem is:
1. Delete all custom fields on PWA;
2. Open Microsoft Project and save a new template and close the MS-Project;
2. Create all custom fields (use PSI code - more friendly) again;
3. Test CreateProjectFromTemplate, probably work normaly!

One observation of this solution is if you need change the template again.

I think this is a bug of PSI.
