I have two users. One has Windows XP Pro with Office 2007 and the other has
Windows Vista Ultimate with Office 2007. They both experience an issue when
they open up multiple instances of Excel (so that they can display a
spreadsheet on both monitors) and while copying back and forth between the
spreadsheets. After opening the file (after doing all the copying) they will
get the error: "Excel was able to open the file by repairing or removing the
unreadable content." Then in the body of the error "Removed Records: Style
from /xl/styles.xml part (styles)" This is saving in the .xlsx format.
When saving it in the .xls format they receive this error: "Excel recovered
your formulas and cell values, but some data may have been lost".
Lots of data is being lost when this happens - any suggestions? Thanks.
