Error when creating hyperlink

Hi
I have to create an hyperlink to a file in a cell, but system gives me an
error message " The full path of the file " File Name" is too long. Please
try using Map Netwrok Drive to connect to the server to shorten the path.

Can anyone advise, How to do this?
