Error when importing Excel 07 sheet

I'm trying to import an Excel 2007 worksheet into Access 2007 using the
"Import Spreadsheet Wizard". Everything is fine until I press "Finish".

I get the message "The search key was not found in any record." and it won't
let me import the data.

I am not even certain what a search key is. I tried to copy the sheet and
paste values only into a new sheet and import- still no luck.

Any ideas what could be causing this?
